
Pacific Business News has announced this year’s winners of the Fastest 50 small-business awards program, and Bump Networks is among this year’s fastest.
Fastest 50, now in its 16th year, recognizes growth by small-businesses over a three-year period, in this case 2007 to 2009. Nominations are open to any privately owned Hawaii-based business with revenues of $15 million or less. PBN, in conjunction with First Hawaiian Bank and PKF Pacific Hawaii LLP, will host the awards luncheon on Thursday, August 19th at the Halekulani hotel.
The event will begin at 10:45 am with a reception in the upstairs outside ballroom for this year’s 50 and the event sponsors. Lunch will follow at 12 noon in the upstairs ballroom. The keynote address will be provided by Ted Davenport, Master Developer for Subway in Hawaii with 121 stores statewide. Mr. Davenport also brought Ruby Tuesday Restaurants to Hawaii in 2002.



The Web Marketing Association announced the winners of its twelfth annual WebAward Competition for Web site development. More than 2,400 sites from 45 countries were adjudicated in 96 industry categories during this year’s competition. Entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.
