This is an example of a Bump Makeover for the website www.huinoeau.com.  Check out the differences between the before and after below followed by an explanation of why we did what we did. Let us know what you think!

Before

When you think “Visual Arts Center”, what comes to mind?  Our design team brought this website back to life by replacing the neutral, earthy tones with a splash of bold and vivid color.  By adding interesting crops and placement of artwork throughout the homepage, users are enticed to click through and see more of what the Hui No`eau has to offer.

Instead of having to leave the main site to view other information, the user is presented with a brief gathering of blog post snippets, events, and news all on the homepage with images and can easily view more by clicking arrows at the bottom of each box to tab through more articles.  This allows greater user interaction.

Additionally, the main navigation bar is moved to the top, where a drop down menu is added to each section so a user can more quickly and easily find information.
