    The Maui Kai Website has been awarded "Outstanding Website" by the the Web Marketing Association for its ease of use, natural color scheme and use of Flash Videos. 

     

    This 50-unit condominium is located directly oceanfront on Maui’s famous Kaanapali Beach, the Maui Kai needed an updated website that would allow it to compete in the highly competitive market for Maui accommodations.  Targeted to vacationers who want a “home away from home” experience instead of a restrictive resort, Maui Kai’s website presents a contemporary, refreshing, incredibly easy to navigate experience.


    As the general demographic of the Maui Kai visitor trends toward upper middle age and older, it was important to develop an extremely easy user interface with soothing graphics and design that didn’t overwhelm the senses. Another critical factor was making the check availability and booking process intuitive and as free of frustrations as possible. In other words, “don’t make me think.”


    An engaging Flash video is used on the home page to engage the user and provide them a compelling reason to look deeper into the site.  The goal is to enchant and help the user imagine experiencing the ambience of Maui Kai.
